Our Team

The People Behind the Movement

Unlabeled Artists is led by people who have lived the intersection of music, recovery, and community — bringing both lived experience and professional expertise to everything we build. Many of our board members and advisors are public figures or individuals whose professional roles require a heightened level of privacy and security. In addition, some members participate in recovery fellowships and programs where anonymity is a deeply respected and important principle. For these reasons, Unlabeled Artists does not publicly disclose the identities or personal information of our board members and advisors. This policy is intended solely to protect their privacy, security, and individual commitments to anonymity. We are committed to transparency and accountability and are happy to provide appropriate information regarding our leadership and governance in response to legitimate inquiries from funders, partners, regulatory agencies, and other qualified parties.

What Guides Us

Principles in Practice

Lived Experience Leads

Every program decision is informed by people who have navigated recovery and the music industry — not just observed it from the outside.

Transparency Always

We publish our financials, name our funders, and talk openly about what works and what doesn't. Artists deserve partners who are honest.

Long-Term Over Quick Wins

We invest in two-year fellowship relationships, not one-off events. Real change in artists' lives takes time, trust, and sustained support.
